Lauren Langton comes to Bill Griffin Real Estate with an extensive background in banking and finance – growing her career to the position of Vice President and Portfolio Manager in Commercial & Industrial Banking. She displayed leadership in the industry as President of Young Risk Management Association (RMA) and served on the North Texas RMA Board for several years. You might say finance and real estate are a part of her DNA; Lauren’s family has a bank in her hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, which is involved in real estate ventures in various regions of the United States.
Lauren received her B.B.A. at The University of Mississippi in Banking & Finance with a minor in Real Estate. She achieved academic success as a Dean’s Scholar, and was even chosen by her college professors to receive the Bancorp South Scholastic awarded by the Interim Dean of Ole Miss upon graduation.
Her life experiences have equipped her with the skills and expertise that a real estate career requires. She is an Agent that enjoys getting the details right for her clients and makes the home buying experience effortless.
Lauren is actively involved in the Dallas community and has a very engaged social life outside of real estate. She is a member of Lee Park and Arlington Hall Conservancy where her peers nominated her as a recipient of the 75th Anniversary Winners Circle Award in 2015. Lauren was instrumental in the establishment of the Lee Park Junior Conservancy in 2008 as a founding Board Member. She is a Kappa Delta Alumni and attends Highland Park United Methodist Church. Also, Lauren is currently an Advice Columnist/Behaviorist for Model Behaviors.
Lauren’s passion for her work, and love of people and property is rare. She has been a homeowner in the State-Thomas Historic District of Uptown Dallas since 2007 and is a great advocate for those who appreciate the in-town living experience.
