First built in 1927 but not really filled out until the 40’s, Snider Plaza reflects a time when charm and stylish design coexisted with the type of everyday practicality. It is the antithesis to Suburban sprawl and mega stores. Snider Plaza has character, and parts of it still look like it is frozen in time.
Our three-block shopping center is home to some of the area’s most beloved dining spots, with Kuby’s, Bubba’s and Balls Hamburgers forming a sort of walking-distance triumvirate of comfort food. The backbone of Snider Plaza’s local appeal is the dozens of charmingly petite boutiques specializing in everything from stationary to antiques to imported fabrics. Rounding out the wholesomeness of it all is the Eisenhower-era gas station – a compact, three-pump affair where attendants still race out to fill your tank.
We love being in the middle of it all at the fountain. Our clients enjoy coming by and taking in the great restaurants, retail and local ambience.

In 1728, Friedrich Kuby opened a neighborhood meat market in Kaiserslautern, Germany, that specialized in fine sausages and specialty meats. After two centuries of satisfied customers, Karl Kuby, direct descendant of Opa (grandpa) Friedrich, immigrated to the United States, bringing with him the unique art of sausage making and specialty meat preparation. In 1961, Karl opened Kuby’s Sausage House, Inc., here in Snider Plaza.
